I am truly going to miss my Hydrangeas that seem to love it along my fence. They get early morning sun and afternoon shade along with moisture from the springs that run throughout the hollow. The land here is very fertile and regardless of what I plant, it grows.
Oh, one more thing.
I dug up three of the new "babies," put them in pots and plan on taking them with me. Don't tell anyone, okay?
oh no, you're moving? my, that's a huge undertaking, and I dig up babies and take them with me too. I hope it goes smoothly, and I look forward to reading all about it!
I forgot you were moving.. Hope you will be close to Lisa..and the 3 cubs. I love Hydrangeas and yours are lovely.. You must have an enormous big thumb.. Have you told the dogs that you are moving? Have a Blessed Day~! ta ta for now from Iowa:)
when we moved here 22 years ago, we dug up several little bushes and 2 little trees, we put it in the contract and brought them with us. we moved them here before we closed on the house. we had to make a single trip just for moving plants and bushes. any news yet on new or old property
What is not to love about Hydrangeas! Yours are absoutely lovely. Must be that cooler air and the rich soil, but most of all you MUST have a green thumb. Deer eat them at my place.
