Well Worn

Sitting in my old wicker chair, I felt the gentle raindrops against my arms and legs.  Turning yet another page of the paper, I decided that I would remain, listening to the birds singing and the bees buzzing.

After all, I wasn't going to melt.

The paper gets a tad soggy though, doesn't it?
JP, I can't tell you how good it is to find your blog again! I'm not sure exactly how I lost track of you, but I did...I guess I need to pay better attention! :-) But I'm glad that you've kept up with me! I need to read back through your posts and see what you're up too. I hope you had more than just a few rain drops--That was all we had here and the weatherman this morning is complaining on the news about possibly more--I don't know how anyone can do that...

Enjoy your Sunday from wherever you are sitting! :-)

Love the picture. Looks so relaxing.
Did you stay out there when it started pouring though?

I fixed that recipe - thanks for pointing out the missing ingredient!

I try to tell myself that when I'm out in the pool, but I hate getting rained on even though I am wet already!

If we got a nice rain here, I would go for a run in it! I have not run in the rain in a while now. Its one of my favorite runs!
Rained here in Lancaster, PA overnight and we head home to the VA eastern shore on Monday after our 2-week road trip to visit our new 2-week old granddaughter in RI.

I would have melted. ;-) I love your chair and foot rest. Makes me want to go sit outside.
