Always Something
Nearly every Saturday, there is something going on here at Goodwin and this past Saturday was no exception. We would learn about dragonflies and damselflies both in a classroom setting and then out in the field. It was AWESOME!!!!
Joined by young and old alike, mostly humans, we eagerly charged through the tall grasses that bordered the pond. The older gentleman in the picture is Juan Sanchez, Naturalist extraordinaire, affiliated with DEEP. The younger gentleman in the picture is Sam...the most awesome little boy who at such a young age really knows his stuff!

Greeting everyone with a wagging tail, Belle, a twelve week old Golden, made friends easily.
After Belle (Sam's puppy) tired of chasing dragonflies, she needed a little swim...:)
I've met so many great people here. A teacher at the Montessori School, two retired librarians, a Pomfret woman affiliated with Audubon who invited me to one of their upcoming events and next week...
