M...I...A
Please forgive me for not visiting your blogs over the past few days. I have had an extremely busy week for an "old lady"...LOL!
Kayaking Thursday was a much needed rest since I watched my three year old grand daughter on Tuesday.
I got home right before it was time to leave for Tai Chi. However no pictures for Tai Chi because I was too whipped to go! Besides, my throat felt a tad scratchy. Uh...oh!
Wednesday the Pres and I went to the Big E with my daughter Jennifer and Angel. We had a GREAT time! Arriving at eleven and not leaving the fair grounds until close to five. (Pix coming in another post!!!)
Thursday was a beautiful morning so I went kayaking. It was windy though and the water very choppy. I did, however, get to explore another portion of the lake although I did not venture up the river on that side.
Friday I drove back to my son's because Mia had thrown up Thursday night and was now running a fever so they kept her home. Setting my alarm for 5:00am was something I haven't done in over a year. I think that's why I didn't sleep well...kept waking up to look at the time!!
Staying with Mia all day Friday then over night into Saturday (they'd asked me to watch her the 29th because of a commitment they had), Mia said, "Nana, we're having a sleep over...you and I. I'm too little to come to your house and stay by myself so you came here, right?"
Oh I had quite an agenda for this this week too.
However, here it is Tuesday and I've been sick all day Monday and today as well. Cold? Allergies? At this point I really don't know. However, when I do nothing, you know there's something wrong. So that's where I am folks...in my jammies, on the couch, under a nice warm quilt, drinking hot tea and eating homemade chicken soup...thanks to the Pres!
