Withdrawal Symptoms

Dropping off my camera all wrapped in bubble wrap and neatly tucked into the UPS box didn't phase me at all.  It's ONLY a camera!

Later that afternoon though it phased me.  There it was!  The barred owl had returned to hunt at dusk.  Reaching for my camera (usually kept in the drawer of my desk), I grabbed air.  It wasn't there!

Breathe.  It's only a camera.

Use the cell phone.

Better still.

Use the iPad.

Better still.

Hope the owl returns once you get your camera back.

Oh, one more thing.  I received an email from the company doing the repair (s).  The last line read..."sometimes it may take longer because parts have to be ordered and or certain damage is not covered."

Oh I hope they can fix it AND that it's covered.

we never realize how much we depend on things until they're not there.
That cake in your last post looks good and so easy.

Oh my- we camera-bugs can all relate to your sad state of being camera-less. I hope all goes well for both of you. Think happy and hopeful thoughts ~:)
Oh I've been there. You'll get through this!

Take deep breathes so that you can scream louder.

I wish I could take pictures like you. I bet you take good ones even with your cell phone. I've thought about taking a class, but I should probably have a much fancier camera first. I love the picture on your header. Those trees look beautiful. Hope the camera returns soon.
