It's in the Bag

I never really drank tea until I moved back to Connecticut.  To tell you the truth, I think it began when my son, who works for a food distributor, introduced me to Bigelow's Vanilla Chai tea.  I told him how much I used to love getting a Vanilla Chai from Dunkin Donuts when I had a long drive while working at the bank in Virginia.

Now, nearly every afternoon, I have a cup mug full.  Some days it's Vanilla Chai.  Some day it's Spiced Chai.  Some days it's Green.  Some days its Green Tea with Peach (delicious!!!!).

Loaded with antioxidants, I then add local honey and fat-free Half & Half.

Are you a tea drinker?

What's your favorite?

I don't know what happened. I'm typing this on my I-pad so if something weird shows up in your comments just delete it. I drink a lot of iced tea in the summer. My hot choice of drink is usually coffee. And usually in the afternoon I like latte's or hot chocolate or hot tea with a cookie. Which is a problem because of the calories. Any less calorie tea suggestions that are a bit sweet.

i love hot green tea, but recently read an article from a food blogger that talked about how loaded with pesticides a lot of popular teas are - tea leaves are never washed from the time they are harvested to bagged so whatever pesticide was sprayed on the plants ends up in your cup. really made me think twice. if you want to see the post, let me know. if you prefer to remain worry-free, no problem!
I've recently started drinking tea again, there's something about a warm cup at the end of a long day--Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look for it. Right now I'm just drinking an apple and cinnamon tea, but I'm always looking for something new to try.
