Random 5 Friday
I love living out in the country. There's nothing more relaxing than seeing a herd of milk cows, horses peacefully grazing and or maple trees being tapped. To me people seem friendlier and more caring...down to earth, hard working...genuine. I wonder if my fondness of country life is because I was raised in the country??
No, I am not a city girl even though I worked and lived in the city for many years when raising my children. We would take rides to the "country" to sit on the stone walls that I sat on growing up...walls where we would see what shapes we could find in the clouds.
Being Valentine's Day made me think of all the things I love...my family, my friends, my life. And, selfish as it may sound, here's hoping the Pres cooks us a yummy breakfast and that he likes the card I got him!
Valentine's Day is cause for celebration for the Pres and I and it has been for a long time! Copper Lucas Aspen was brought to us when he was 10 months old. He made my heart melt then as he does today...ten years ago...Valentine's Day!

Tonight I saw the moon peeking through some trees in my backyard. I live a block off of Space Center Blvd. not too far from the Johnson Space Center, so I just had to take a picture of THE moon. I thought if JP can do it so can I. Did you use the flash? My moon looks like a tiny light in the sky. I'd have to tell people it was the moon. :(
