Sunday and Monday was beautiful here in A Quiet Corner.  We were welcomed home with temps in the mid to upper 70's, sunshine and a wonderful breeze...glorious!!  Achoo!

Wanting to spend our time outdoors, we decided to put in the plants that the Pres had brought home for me before we left for Aruba.  We'd asked the babysitter to water them for us while we were away...Achoo!

I planted while the Pres spread lime and grub killer with the ATV.
The buds on our trees are out in full force and so was tree pollen.  Achoo!

I planted three flats of flowers...daffodils, muscari (grape hyacinths) and pansies, spreading them out along the upper stonewall.  Today the pouring rain is giving them a nice drink and the cooler temps tomorrow will help them adjust nicely since they all love the cold!..Achoo!

Getting on the ground, I decided that Moon and Copper would enjoy a good brushing so using the shed blade first, their fur came off easily covering me from head to toe before wafting away in the breeze.  Achoo!

When I came in at the end of the day yesterday, my left ear was giving me some troubles.  Taking my shower and using the netti pot for a sinus rinse, the local weatherman's voice resonated in my head.  Tree pollen is extremely high so stay indoors if you're a sufferer.  Achoo!

Feeling a little under the weather...achoo!

Last year was the first for me...I'm hoping it was a fluke.

So sorry, but it didn't hold you down! Yes, I have severe allergies and have gone into anaphylatic shock in the E.R. I take three allergy meds and also carry an Epi Pen

Hope you'll feel better soon. It's just hard when you love the outdoors and you have allergies. I go to my allergist for immune therapy shots every week or so.

I never used to have seasonal allergies until I was much older. So far this year no problem since nothing is oh and we got snow yesterday.
Feel better soon

yes to allergies and our pollen count has been at 9 and 10 for a month now. the weather is perfect for opening windows, but i choose to AC when it gets warm because the open window has me, bob and both dogs doing the allergy thing. Baby acts like she is choking. Jake snuffles really loud like he can't get air. he runs around poking his nose in the bushes full of pollen..

I never did before, but once I moved to NY I started to. I was really sick two weeks ago, and I think it was allergies.
