An Omen
Last week while I walking around the yard picking up dog poop, I came across something interesting. There, in front of the cedar that looks dead yet does have growth at the top, within the confines of our fenced in area, was something on the ground.
Once I saw what it was, I went in the house to get my little camera before I even touched it.
Can you make out what it is?
Here, let me zoom in...
Was it, in fact, an omen?
I wondered if the chick has fledged?
Did you know that sometimes adult eagles will taunt the chick with food or intentionally withhold food in an effort to force it to fledge?
Did you know that it is against the law to keep an eagle feather unless you are a native American?
