Someday Soon

As the flock made their way across the field and up the hill, I pulled over on the side of the road to watch.

There seemed to be leaders.
And their seemed to be followers.

Plodding along through the grass grabbing a nibble every now and then,
they marched onward.

I wondered what was on their minds as they headed
toward a yard adjacent to the field.

Ahhhh...more...
just waiting to join the climb...someday soon!

Loved these photos JP. When I read the caption "someday soon" I thought you were referring to them heading south. LOL Hopefully not for a couple more months!! Have a wonderful weekend. Pam

Canada geese are turning into something of a problem over here. No-one's sure why they're doing so well. But they're almost a pest.

It's so much to animal watch!
Sounds a bit like 'the grand old Duke of York' up the hill. The babies are so cute. Have a great weekend.

Isn't it funny how they always walk in lines! They only get out of line when they stop to eat and rest.Makes them look very regimented! Cute fuzzy babies!!
Oh gosh, they are so adorable!
While Canada Geese are not my facorite to see, I must admit that the young uns are very cute, JP.
I always enjoy seeing the geese. I know there are some that don't because there are so many of them, but they hold a lot of good memories for me, and their "communal" care that they all give those youngin's never fails to give me a grin!

I hope you're doing well, JP!
I can just picture you in the car pulled off to the side, with your camera out and a right big grin on your face. Love these moments in life and well done you for taking the time to stop and smell the roses or should we say watch the geese?! :)
