Just Plain Tired
This past week has been very busy for us and although it began on a sad note, we're hoping that relief is on the way.
On Monday finding out that Stanley passed away, we knew that we would attend his services which were to be held Tuesday. It was added to our agenda.
Stanley was a man that always had a smile on his face. Soft spoken and full of wisdom, he worked at the Zentak Farm all his life It had been in the family for years and continues to be owned and operated by the Pres' lifetime friend, Paul and his family.
We wanted to be there for them...for Stanley's remaining family and friends...and for us. His smile will always be in my heart.

Calling hours were held before Mass which meant we had to leave our place at 7:00am and by the time we got home it was nearly supper. We were exhausted...mentally exhausted. Yet the day was far from over.
Opening the kitchen door, I saw there were messages on the answering machine.
Both for the Pres. His doctor wanted a call back. They found something on the echocardiogram that was done Monday afternoon at the hospital.
Follow-up bloodwork was done Thursday...and now we wait.
Sometimes waiting is hard.

I also pray for good news on the test, the waiting can be stressful..
