Black Friday Is For The Birds
Typically, the Pres and I do not shop on Black Friday. We did one year when we lived in Virginia and nearly got trampled so we decided back then that the deals really were not worth risking our lives...LOL!
However, this year, the morning after Thanksgiving when the Pres' alarm went off and I heard him getting dressed, I wondered why he was moving so early. "Hon, what are you doing up so early?"
Taking another sip of my AM brew I nearly choked when he said, "I'm going out shopping. Do you want to come?"
Still in my PJs, I said, "As a matter of fact, I do. I saw something in the paper that I want to get. Will you take me to Sears while we're out?" Well you know the answer. What man doesn't want to go to Sears?
Off we went.

Well, the first half of our trip was anyway.
Arriving at our local Tractor Supply by 6:30am was evidently the smart thing to do. I was later told that the crowd in there was insane with people pushing to get the deals!
We walked out with four cases of peanut suet and four forty pound bags of black oiled sunflower seed!!
Merry Christmas my little feathered friends. HO! HO! HO!

Happy Weekend,

I don't think my winters are cold enough to get the same number of garden birds as you seem to get. Shame really.

The birds sure seem to be enjoying their gift
