They were everywhere where seeds had blown or fallen.
The more seed that scattered, the more that appeared.

Weighing mere ounces, they were able to walk without disturbing the light fluffy snow.

While some enjoyed snow cones served on the branches, others made their way in and out of tight places.

Others were glad to have a place to call home.

love the birds...braving the cold!! ours down here are so used to the warmer weather, they go into hiding when it drops to 50 and below! i like the feeder/globe and my favorite pic is the bare tree with snow & bird!!

Never thought about this, but they do walk on top of the snow!! Too bad we can't. Your kindness to them is wonderful. They are almost totally defenseless.
