The Gang

"The Gang" has been coming around lately.  They must have known we were going to get snow because during and after the storm, there they were meandering through the woods.

Perhaps I can talk the Pres into planting something that they could eat during the Winter months.

Love the 'ruffly' look of the snow in the underbrush.

It is always nice to see the deer or your gang. I hope they do not mind the snow and winter. Great captures! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

The poor things. I hope the storm wasn't too hard on them finding food.

One of the guys at work puts out a salt lick and some corn for the deer
I was seeing our deer before the storm, but have no idea where they've hunkered down since then. I hope they're okay. I've not thought of planting something for them -- They seem to have acquired a taste for bird food, so maybe I don't have to worry about it. :-)

Hope you're doing well, and aren't too sore!! Take care!!
Sigh...I would love to see this out my window. I know they can be pesky to gardeners, I simply believe they are so precious. Thanks for the pics.

I've heard a salt lick is beneficial for deer and may keep them away from garden plants. It would be an interesting project to see if there's something you could plant for them as a winter source of food.

Glad to see them safe and protected...maybe a feeder of sorts?
