Surrounded by Hunters

I love them.

I have no idea why.

I just do.

Sharing with you and those at

I adore the small yard-birds too.
But there's just something about these hunters that intrigue me.
According to Wikipedia...
Birds of prey, also known as raptors, hunt and feed on other animals. The term "raptor" is derived from the Latin word rapere (meaning to seize or take by force). These birds are characterized by keen vision (that allows them to detect prey during flight) and powerful talons and beaks.

Did you by any chance see the clip on the news (NBC) about the "training of eagles to take down drones?

The hawks just look so proud. I love their beautiful colors. We have sparrow hawks and red tailed hawks here. I just would rather they eat field mice than our cute song birds. :) Hope you are feeling much better and healed from last week. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
Hi JP.
There is something majestic about these fine hunting birds.
some great photos you have taken there in your trees of the birds.\
I will take a read on the eagles taking out drones.. I think these drones might have to be restricted and well licensed soon.
Thanks JP for your encouraging support.. I really was loosing faith with the new regulations of google.
Alas.. i am carrying on.
will be posting now and again.
Have a great Tuesday. love val x xx x

Lovely birds!
Eagles taking down drones is funny but I think a good thing because everyone has them now and they are invasive. LOVE your Raptors. Hug B
HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY! Nice find. Good job on the images.
