Knowing Matters

They don't live far from the field where these statues are on display and, in fact, pass by it frequently.  Mia has taken me there when I babysit...just to see "the Eagles".

Carved out of metal with each feather  meticulously detailed, the artist held true to an anatomically accurate structure giving his latest raptor a wing span of 36'.  To my understanding, it is the second largest Eagle sculpture in the country.
I received these photos the other day

from my son.

When I got them, I was, of course, elated to have my granddaughter posing with a local artist's renowned creations. She knows how Nana feels about "the Eagles."

Yet, the more I thought about it, the more touched I was. They know what makes me tick.

just seeing, saying and sharing with you and those at

They are spectacular sculptures!
Have a wonderful Tuesday :)
