Knowing Matters
They don't live far from the field where these statues are on display and, in fact, pass by it frequently. Mia has taken me there when I babysit...just to see "the Eagles".
Carved out of metal with each feather meticulously detailed, the artist held true to an anatomically accurate structure giving his latest raptor a wing span of 36'. To my understanding, it is the second largest Eagle sculpture in the country.
I received these photos the other day
from my son.
When I got them, I was, of course, elated to have my granddaughter posing with a local artist's renowned creations. She knows how Nana feels about "the Eagles."
Yet, the more I thought about it, the more touched I was. They know what makes me tick.
