Management...A New Meaning
When I worked at the bank, I was in management. No, not my entire career but rather three quarters of it. Learning more than you can possibly imagine about "playing the game", "doing the right thing", personnel and politics, I grew just as everyone did.
Now...
retiring from management has a whole new meaning.
Filling the feeders daily to ensure the locals get what they need to carry on their heritage.
This year, the "Happy couple" spent lots of time together resulting in "young-uns."
Ensuring that shelter is provided to preserve and protect the critters around us, nothing gives me greater pleasure than watching the kids enjoy that shelter and play in their backyard.
just seeing, saying and sharing...
that it doesn't take much either...some native plants, two old birdbaths, one inherited and one handmade filled with fresh water each morning, some seed in the feeders and sugar-water for the Hummingbirds, and to sit back and enjoy...

At our place we get mainly magpies and crows with an odd parrot perhaps popping in and of course there are always the willy wagtails who are a delight to see. With our weather never turning too nasty we only need to supply water during the summer although we do keep it full even in the winter as sometimes we may go a week without rain.
