No Critters Needed Here

The big and the small,
 the short and the tall,
 they love our place
you can tell by their face...:)

Standing broadside once she saw me peering out the window, the resident doe stood motionless as the second fawn walked behind her and disappeared into the woods.

The Hummingbird Moths seem to be enjoying the hot, humid Summer.  They really love the Million Bells!!
Our yard is never quiet with the Red Squirrels chattering and screeching at just about anything and everything that gets in their way.  In fact, when I head in to the fill the feeders, it scampers up the tree, parks it's butt on a branch and begins giving me "the speech."

Of course, the rabbits are EVERYWHERE.  We have an entire community this year!!  These two were taking a scratch break at the end of our walk.

Dragonflies are AWESOME...just plain AWESOME!

just seeing, saying, and sharing...

You certainly have a variety of species to observe and enjoy! I remember seeing a hummingbird moth many years ago - I am not sure that I knew what it was until just this moment. Thank you!

Nice finds.

It's been awhile since I've seen a dragonfly or a squirrel or deer or rabbit. Somme of the things I miss about Pennsylvania.

Hello, you do have a great variety of wildlife there. I love the deer and fawns, so sweet. The bunnies are adorable too. Great captures of the dragonflies. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and new week!

Great set of animals - we got very excited to see a very similar species of moth in Switzerland last year. I dont think we have a similar species in Australia.

Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
I do miss seeing the dragonflies that were all around when we lived in VA, but hardly see any now that we’re living in the city. Thanks for the memory, JP.
