Freedom, Falling and Crawling

No, the colorful Fall leaves are not quite ready here YET.  We are a few weeks behind schedule according to the meteorologists.   However, the leaves have been changed INSIDE the house along with a few "old" favorites (i.e. the wooden pumpkins made by the Pres and myself...thanks to Nancy C, a fellow blogger)

As of today, Fall is crawling in...slowly...(today is humid and WARM!!).

Deciding that if Fall wasn't coming to me, I would go find Fall.  While my mission wasn't exactly what I call successful, I did find traces.

Meanwhile, the Wool Bear Caterpillars that I've been seeing seem to sat that Winter will be mild.

If the rusty band is wide, then it will be a mild winter. The more black there is, the more severe the winter.  Woolly Bear Caterpillars and Weather Prediction

I hope the caterpillar is right. I don't think I can deal with a bad winter

We finally had a break in our HOT weather and it cooled down to the low 60's today. Heaven! Have a great weekend and thank you for linking up today!!

We have rain today and tomorrow is supposed to be cooler weather.
Your fall pictures are absolutely gorgeous and I enjoyed your decorations too. Here in northwest Indiana this week we had summer-like mid-80s temperatures on Monday & Tuesday, 70s on Wednesday, upper 40s today (Thursday) and now tonight they've called a frost warning with the temperature predicted to get down to 37 about 3am. Summer tried to hang on but I think she got the boot out the front door from Miss Autumn... with Ole Man Winter trying to pry the door open around back. :) Love, Andrea xoxo

Let's hope that the caterpillar is correct. I hate really bad winters.
