Fitting In

It was another week of "Nana Duty" this past week.

Of course, ever since Harley Jean arrived 8 months ago, I also get to babysit her.  With a ferocious bark, she is one strong and powerful dog.  Yet it is her loving nature that made me invite her to celebrate  Thanksgiving with us this year.

Like all dogs, she has her favorite things.  One of them is a blanket I passed on to them (a gift from my BFFs many, many years ago when I had my German Short-Haired Pointer, Kiera Von Pooh).

When my grand daughter and I are on the couch in the den, Harley gazes up at us and seems to be saying PLEASE...PLEASE CAN I GET UP THERE WITH YOU?  I KNOW I CAN FIT.  Now weighing in at 70 lbs, she thinks she's tiny!!

just seeing, saying, and sharing...

No matter their size, these pups really do find a way to fit into our hearts and our laps too, don't they?

Just like cats, dogs always think they can fit.

With cats and dogs, it's all about expressing their love and getting some comfort in return - they don't think much about size or the beautiful new couch fabric - and yet we love them so!

I enjoy dog sitting. Harley Jean is a beautiful dog. The dogs do being close to people and lay on the furniture. Thanks for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Monday, enjoy your day! Have a great new week! PS, thanks for the visits and comments too.
Harley is a good looking "pup" and of course she wants to get comfy on the couch with you.

JP, I think your dog will get much bigger. It makes me think of my daughter's Sam...he is very big , lab /boxer mix. he tries to sit on our laps. I am glad you are getting to love on a friendly doggie. I know you miss your old pals. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
