Heading to the sink to wash my coffee cup and make breakfast, I spotted them immediately.  Turning to get my camera, I watched trying to remain hidden.  The hens were on the inside of our fence and the jakes were on the outside.  Hours later when the Pres woke up I found out that it is not yet mating season.

The hen seemed to be comparing their performances.

I love those pretty tail feathers. Just beautiful. Great shots of the turkeys.
Wishing you a happy day!
Good thing that Thanksgiving has passed by already :-)

Thank you, I did not know males were jakes. I always thought they were toms. The blue on the male looks so bright. Hope you and Pres are doing well. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
We just had a wild turkey in our back woods a couple days ago. Just a lone one eating bird seed. We don't see them too often and not in a group, as you have. Beautiful! Love, Andrea xoxo
