Time For Change

Changing our clocks Sunday, November 1st causing us to loose an hour, has apparently been imprinted on me.  For the past several weeks, I have been waking up an hour earlier than normal.

Although I do not like day's end to come so quickly, I do like what it stands for traditionally.  Baking everything from breads to cookies lately, my freezer is already full of goodies.

This Sunday?? Rats! I just hate the early dark. If it were up to me, we would get rid of it, and never change the clocks in the fall again.

Personally, I would like daylight savings time to last year around, instead of back and forth, back and forth. Nothing beats a fresh warm cookie from the oven to eat. Come Sunday, you won't be waking up early anymore. Happy baking!

Thanks for your recent visit to my blog and your kind comments! The shorter days seem to have arrived quickly. I wake up at 8 and still think it must be earlier since it is dark!!! We live an hour from the border with Canada, so we are pretty far north, making it even shorter and darker! Enjoy those baked goods!

Looks like changing the clock is something we never ever have to worry about in our corner of the world where it is summer all year round!

Those cookies look amazing!
I agree wholeheartedly, Ginny.
We do gain an hour which I really, really need!!
Carol, supposedly change is good for the soul...:)
Oatmeal raisin. The freezer is getting pretty full...:)
The early darkness is NOT a favorite of mine either, Angie!!...:)
