The Calming Effect

The day I was at the pond, as you can see, it was sunny and clear.  There was no fog or morning mist. There was no wind.  It was just a calm beautiful morning for me to "reflect" upon just who/what I've become.  Hopefully you take the time to do the same.

This is a beautiful photo, and does exude a calming effect. You have lovely areas to walk in and enjoy the natural beauty all around us.

With regard to your photo editing comment on my blog: I use GIMP, which is an open source free download. I have a link for it on my main blog page. I also go "au naturale" with my photographs, but I did use it to create that composite image for the Bald Eagle photographs I had taken, in addition to using it to make my artwork. It has pretty good online help, too. If you have time, you might want to download and install it, and just play around with it, to see if you like it. (It's similar to Photo Shop, but free. :-)

For me, nature has a calming effect. Still water enhances it, I think. We don't have that here and I miss it. Your photos are gorgeous. And I really like the format of you blog.

Double the beauty. I could enlarge this and sit in front of it to meditate, and it would be almost like being there. Thank you!
