Is WHITE a Color?

While a lot of people I know are not fond of the color white in the garden, to me it pops!!  Now that Spring has finally decided to stick around, I've begun to notice just how many white blooms we have.  Whether they are on shrubs or in the garden, I still say they POP!!!

"Some people consider WHITE to be a color because white light comprises all hues in the visible light spectrum.  And some consider BLACK to be a color because you combine other pigments to create it on paper.  But in the technical sense, BLACK and WHITE are NOT COLORS...they are SHADES. "

Whether it's considered a color or not I say that yes, it does pop in the garden. One of my favorite bushes growing in our yard when I was growing up was a giant snowball bush.
Color or not, very beautiful, especially against a green background!
