A Space Issue

So Katniss discovered the windowsill in my bedroom a long time ago.  Yes, I bought one of those things that hang from the window yet she seems to favor the hard windowsill with her favorite blankie instead.  Rather than force her onto something she's not fond of for some reason, I caved and thought, if it works for her, it can't be all that bad.

However, here's what we are now facing.  She wants to stay in my bedroom all night after sleeping most of the day away on the sill after listening to the birds, watching the chipmunks, squirrels and grasshoppers hop in the grass as well as just stare at the flowers "growing" I guess.

Lately she's been staying on the sill at night because I leave the window open which if fine.  But the other night...holy moosepoops...she decided to catch a snooze in my bed, pinning me into a very narrow spot.  I couldn't even roll over!!!  I mean c'mon...she weighs 11.5 lbs.  How much space does a cat need??

seeing, saying, sharing...

i can barely tolerate Bob in the bed, we have the biggest king bed that can be bought. our first dog Max for 16 years slept in the bed. the next five dogs are not allowed. sometimes i feel mean because Big and Beau wanted on the bed and bob wanted them on the bed. i said it is the dogs are me, i will sleep in the other room. he had a hissy fit about me in the other room. i love the photo of her Katniss and your curtains

First, I love your lace curtains! We have the same kind in one of our rooms. Well, maybe you should nip Katiss in the bed before it becomes a long standing habit. Then it would be even worse to kick her out. Late in the evening, when she is away from the bedroom, can you just quietly shut the door? she would still have it during the day. We shut our cat out of the bedroom at night because I am allergic! I take three allergy meds, but would get pretty sick if he was in bed with us.

I think you have that wrong. She lets you sleep in her bed lol
How much space does a cat need? All there is to be had, of course. DH used to lie all scrunched up because he wouldn't push Tiger out of the way. Not me, I'll share but he didn't get all of it.

She needs all the space. They can stretch out beyond belief. Cute though.

I hope you had a fabulous Thankful Thursday. ♥
