The Calm

Finding this pic in the archives, I thought it would be a perfect depiction of the "calm before Henri".  Yet, because of the arrival of Henri, New England's category 1 hurricane that made landfall Sunday the 22nd, I didn't have a chance to babysit for my grand-dog, Harley.  Of course, I was disappointed but not as much as my son, DIL and granddaughter that they had to cancel their plans.  Yes, they're rescheduled and yes, I've committed to spending a few days with Harley Jean!  She is so well trained that when you put her food down for her, she won't touch it or go near the bowl until you say, "Give me a kiss."

seeing, saying, sharing...

I'm sorry for the delay, but glad you are alright.
Always better to be safe and even if plans have to be cancelled on both ends. Henri will be soon be just a memory and life can resume and plans rescheduled.

It's never fun to have to cancel plans but better to be safe than sorry

How nice for you to have a dog in your family. I'm sure you miss Cooper and Moon. I miss mine, some more than others, and of course, I have Faith and Samson still. I also miss my cats. A lot.

We'd much prefer to skip the storms and keep the calm!
